Fountain Police Department

Located in Fountain, Colo., the Fountain Police Department is a full-service law enforcement agency that protects the lives and properties of residents, as well as safeguards individual rights and community values. It has a criminal investigations division that is responsible for investigating homicides, serious assaults, and sexual, property and cyber crimes. The Fountain Police Department also operates a communication center that receives and responds to all police, fire and medical emergency and nonemergency calls. In addition, the department teaches citizens crime prevention techniques and offers training that emphasizes the importance of recognizing suspicious activities. The Fountain Police Department also performs duties related to animal control, code enforcement, court services, noise checks, and detective and support operations.
