Fountain Middle School, also known as FMS, enrolls students in grades six and eight. It offers classes in physical education, language arts, science, social studies and math. The school also maintains movie, debate, chess and newspaper clubs. Fountain Middle School conducts volleyball, softball and basketball tournaments. In addition, its extracurricular activities include choir, band, drama and art. The school operates a library and media center. Fountain Middle School also organizes field trips and provides special education programs for gifted and talented students. It offers the Title I program and maintains an advisory council. The school is a part of the Fountain-Fort Carson School District.
