Boulder Reservoir is a recreational and water storage facility that is spread over an area of more than 650 acres. The facility provides drinking and irrigation water and is operated by the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District. Boulder Reservoir offers several recreational opportunities, such as boating, swimming, sunbathing, water skiing, fishing, picnicking, walking, running, cycling and wildlife viewing.
