Empire Police Department

The Silverthorne Police Department work to enhance the life within the town by working closely with citizens in the development and delivery of police services. Located in Silverthorne, Colo. the department currently works with 21 employees. It provides its officers with a variety of training opportunities. It offers various services, including refinement of existing Community Policing Programs, Reinforcing the Neighborhood Watch Program, Involve the detective in Community Policing, working in collaboration with the other Summit County law enforcement agencies to develop a Citizen's Police Academy. The Silverthorne Police Department is an active participant in several countywide teams, including Tactical Team, Drug Task Force and DUI enforcement program. The department also has an internal fitness program and a bilingual incentive pay program for those employees who have achieved a level of proficiency in Spanish.

The Wheat Ridge Police Department offers bicycle theft and domestic violence prevention services. The department operates a patrol operations division. The Wheat Ridge Police Department also has a support services division that operates a communications bureau to provide emergency response services. The department conducts investigations and training sessions. The Wheat Ridge Police Department operates a citizen police academy, as well as provides victim assistance services. It is governed by the City of Wheat Ridge in Colorado. The department conducts the Crime Free Multi-Housing Program.
