El Tapatio

History

The first El Tapatio Mexican Restaurant opened in April 18, 1996 at the Alameda & Wadsworth location, right acrosss the Villa Italia mall, now Belmar. Since then the Padilla family has been serving customers with the authentic and traditional flavors of the Mexican cuisine. A second location was opened in June 6, 2006 in Golden, across the Jefferson County building. This location offers a patio for outdoor dining and the best margaritas in the area. In April 2009, a third location was opened in South Lakewood (Wadsworth & Hampden) to cater the customers of the southwestern are of Denver. In 2010 the Arvada location opened and in 2011 our Broomfield location. Ever since the first El Tapatio was open, the Padilla family has always strived for the best quality on their food and service. El Tapatio Mexican Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and diner. We also offer margaritas and a wide selection domestic and imported beers. El Tapatio also offers live mariachi on the weekends at our Lakewood location. If you are birthday, office, graduation, or rehearsal party, please contact us and we can accommodate large parties.
