El Paso County Motor Vehicle

The Office of the Clerk & Recorder is a part of the government of El Paso County in Colorado. It maintains a variety of records and documents for the county government. The office operates an election department that coordinates, prepares and processes the general, primary and coordinated elections of the county. The Office of the Clerk & Recorder includes a motor vehicle department that is responsible for titling and registering various types of vehicles, as well as enforces the statutory diesel emission control requirements. It also has a recording department that maintains real estate documents and subdivision and condominium plats, as well as issues marriage licenses.
