History
St Kathryn Cellars specializes in wines made from the fruits of orchards and gardens. In 2008, the owners retired and Glenn Foster and his wife purchased St Kathryn Cellars. Glenn's family has been involved in the world of wine since 1976, when Glenn's father, Reed Foster Sr. co-founded Ravenswood Winery in Sonoma, CA. Glenn learned the business from the ground up. Glenn has been making wine in Colorado since 1995. The Fosters updated St Kathryn's spacious tasting room and store offerings; they then added new wines with a focus on 100% fruit wines highlighting the surrounding agricultural area.
Specialties
Our best-selling wines are Lavender, Blackberry Honey, Medium Sweet Honey, and Peach. Be sure to try our award-winning Strawberry Honey Wine as well! Production tours are held here at our Meadery location. Come learn more about our winemaking and history on a Production or Sensory Tour! We have three labels under Talon Wines: Meadery of the Rockies, St. Kathryn Cellars, and Talon Winery. Our 20+ wines are available at both of our locations!
