Denver Public Trustee

The Public Works Department is administered by the City and County of Denver in Colorado. The department is responsible for the maintenance, construction and repair of roads, streets, bridges and public buildings. It provides weekly household trash collection services to more than 160,000 homes. The Public Works Department s finance and administration division provides accounting, purchasing, information technology, contract management and payroll services. The department also administers residential parking permit and meter cash key programs. Its policy and planning division focuses on the review and analysis of activities that affect the city s development. In addition, the Public Works Department s fleet maintenance division is responsible for the repair and service of over 1,500 pieces of city-owned equipment.
