In August 1993, after 37 years of working in the canvas business, my Dad's dream of owning his own shop was realized with the opening of Davis Tent and Awning in Englewood, Colorado. Within five years, we had outgrown our original 5, 000 square foot building and started construction of our current 20, 000 sq. ft. facility in Denver. It was at this time that Rick ( my brother ) joined the company.
