Dr. David Beard is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who sees patients in our Loveland, CO, office.He specializes in taking care of adults, teenagers, and children who have a sports injury or condition, including knee and shoulder problems. Dr. Beard also takes care of fractures and hip injuries.Dr. Beard performs a variety of orthopaedic surgeries, such as: knee arthroscopy for numerous conditions, including meniscal tears, ligament tears, and loose bodies, hip replacement, using the traditional posterior technique, knee replacement, ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff and other shoulder repairs, surgical treatment of common fractures around the shoulder, wrist, hip, knee, and ankleHe joined the Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies in 2000 following his residency training in orthopaedics and several years experience as an orthopaedic surgeon in the U.S. Navy.His military service included time working with the Navy SEALs.Dr. Beard holds board certification from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.Dr. Beard takes care of patients from OCRs service area of northern Colorado, Wyoming, and western Nebraska. He performs hip, knee, and shoulder surgeries at hospitals and surgery centers in Loveland.His interests outside medicine include mountain biking, skiing, whitewater rafting, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Wes Jackson is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who takes care of patients in our Fort Collins and Loveland, CO, offices, providing specialty care for foot and ankle injuries and conditions.In his practice, Dr. Jackson focuses on complex, reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle. He also takes care of a variety of injuries and conditions.Dr. Jackson is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon. He performs foot and ankle surgery at hospitals and surgery centers in Fort Collins and Loveland.He completed his fellowship in athletic and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at the University of Texas Houston/Baylor-Texas Medical Center. Fellowship programs provide orthopaedic surgeons with an additional, sixth year of focused patient care and training in their specialty, following the completion of their residency.Dr. Jackson completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.Dr. Jackson holds board certification through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.Dr. Jackson is a member of OCRs Foot and Ankle Team, along with Mike Houghton, MD, in orthopaedic surgery, and Nathan Hunt, DPM, and Emily Wasko, DPM, in podiatry.The three doctors treat all types of foot and ankle problems, ranging from sprains and athletic injuries to complications from diabetes that affect the foot and ankle, as well as major ankle reconstruction and ankle replacement surgery.His outside interests include remodeling projects, engine repair, hiking, travel, and spending time with his family.
