Whitney Juselius, MD, believes that providing quality health care requires a complete team: the doctor, provider colleagues, clinic and hospital staff, and the patient. Everyone works together to achieve the same goal: improving each patients cardiovascular health. Her approach starts with listening to her patients, discussing the potential causes of their concerns and then developing a shared medical decision-making plan. Dr. Juselius received her bachelors degree in life science from Pennsylvania State University and went to medical school at the University of Colorado. She also studied internal medicine at Tufts University in Boston and completed a cardiovascular disease fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Juselius is board certified in cardiology (American Board of Internal Medicine) and echocardiography (National Board of Echocardiography/American Society of Echocardiography). In her free time, Dr. Juselius helps animals through fostering and volunteering with rescues. She also enjoys hiking, traveling, reading and baking.

Scott Otto, MD, treats his patients as if they were his own family. Knowing that sometimes trepidation and fear are associated with surgery, Dr. Otto educates his patients on their treatment options in relatable terms to better understand his recommendations. Taking into consideration his patients lifestyles, he helps to manage their expectations for the surgery and recovery. Dr. Otto became a general surgeon because he enjoys the depth of general surgery and is passionate about being a great doctor.Dr. Otto enjoys the breadth and depth of general surgery from simple lumps and bumps, to advanced laparoscopic surgery, to oncologic surgery. He welcomes inquiries to the discuss performing a specific procedure or assist in managing a surgical problem. Dr. Otto received his undergraduate degree from The University of Denver. He then earned his medical degree from Rush University in Chicago, Illinois. After medical school, Dr. Otto went to Indiana University for his residency training. Shortly after completing his residency Dr. Otto joined a private practice group and then transitioned into his own successful private practice in general surgery and level 1 trauma care.Dr. Otto made the move to Colorado to spend more time in the great outdoors. He enjoys cooking, exercising, and playing basketball with his kids.
