Cresthill Middle School

Mountain Ridge Middle School is a coeducational institution that provides a range of educational and extracurricular programs to more than 1,000 students in grades seven and eight. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as consumer and family studies, foreign languages, health and physical education, and performing and fine arts. The school s discovery program offers a range of courses that are designed to address the needs of gifted students in content areas, such as mathematics and language arts. It offers a range of sports activities, such as cross country, volleyball, football, wrestling, golf, track and field and basketball. The school s library has a collection of several books, magazines, newspapers, dictionaries, thesauruses, and audiovisual and reference materials. It involves students in various extracurricular activities, including jazz band, chess, floor hockey, choir, National Junior Honor Society, Web design, and poetry and spirit clubs. Mountain Ridge Middle School is governed by the Douglas County School District and is located in Highlands Ranch, Colo.
