The Crested Butte Mountain Heritage Museum preserves and shares the history, stories, and traditions of the Gunnison County. The historic Tony's Conoco (The first gas pump in town) was preserved as the basecamp of the museum, and holds permanent as well as rotating museums, features a gift shop, and hosts historic walking tours and other educational events. This was a great stop in Crested Butte. I love that there is a free, interactive spot to stop in this area. I had fun as an adult, and kids would definitely have fun too. Cute opportunities for...

Very cute and informative! The museum is a quick browse (1hr or less) but worth the time. I loved the selection of books regarding the local history as well as children's books and other fun...

I'm probably a little biased because I came here when I was growing up, back when it was still Tony's Conoco. But when I walked into the shop today, I was reminded of many childhood memories....
