Court Appointed Special Advocates of Larimer County
Founded in 1987 by Judge John-David "Sonny" Sullivan, CASA of Larimer County is the first CASA program in Colorado, dedicated to advocating for the best interests of children involved in Dependency Neglect cases. The organization operates through three core programs: Court Appointed Special Advocates, Family Connections, and Trust-Based Relational Intervention, serving children and families in Larimer County who have experienced abuse and neglect.
In 2024, CASA of Larimer County made a significant impact by serving 622 children, appointing 181 volunteers, and providing over 7,998 hours of donated service. As the demand for their services continues to grow, the organization actively seeks community support through donations and volunteer opportunities to bridge the gap for children and families in need.
