The Colorado State Capitol in Denver is a stunning architectural gem and the only capitol building in the nation with a LEED Gold certification. It is meticulously maintained through the collaborative efforts of various organizations, including the Colorado General Assembly, the Governor's Office, and History Colorado, among others.

Visitors can explore the Capitol building through free guided tours, which offer a trip to the Dome observation deck, or choose to self-guide through the building. However, please note that access to the dome is only available on guided tours. The Capitol is open Monday to Friday, and closure dates can be checked through the Visitor Information Center or the ColoradoStateCapitol Facebook page.
