History

The Colorado Institute of Bail Enforcement is one of Colorado's leading Bail Recovery Agent Certification approved course providers. We are also the only school in Colorado that goes above and beyond the basic Certification Course designed by the P.O.S.T Board by offering elective and ongoing training courses. The Colorado Institute of Bail Enforcement was established in 2003 by a small group of Recovery Agents tired of seeing so many newly certified Agents with no clue on how to do their job or what the laws were in regards to the industry. JP Sheets and his partners created a whole new curriculum based on the P.O.S.T Boards outline of required studies. This new course not only meets the State of Colorado's minimum requirement of studies, but stretches beyond that to include training in O.C. Spray, Basic Self-Defense, Handguns, Batons, Pressure Points, Skip-Tracing and much more.

The Colorado Institute of Bail Enforcement is Colorado's leading approved course providers for the Bail Recovery Certification Course, which is required by Colorado State Law. Offering not only the basic certification course, but also advance level courses in skip-tracing, handcuffing, building searches, self-defense, personal protection and non-lethal weapons training. We are listed with the Colorado Division of Insurance as an approved course provider for the Colorado Bail Recovery Agent Certification Course which was designed by the Colorado P.O.S.T (Police Officers Standards & Training) Board. Our Advance Level Courses are designed by our experienced staff and are based on many years of real world experience in various fields of law enforcement, military service, executive protection and bail recovery.
