History

Two organizations formed in the late 1800's to represent lodging interests in Colorado. The first was the Denver City Hotel Association and the other was the Colorado Hotel Men's Association. In 1962 the associations evolved into the Colorado Hotel Association and included motels in its membership. In 1966 it merged with its neighbor to the North to become the Colorado Wyoming Hotel & Motel Association for the next 24 years. In 1990 it was agreed that the two states could sustain their own association and the lodging representation for Colorado became what we are today - the Colorado Hotel & Lodging Association.

Specialties

The CHLA is the only state association that represents every segment of the lodging industry. As a united voice, we have a louder and greater presence in our state legislatures, larger discounts with suppliers, diverse educational resources, and an expansive professional network that will help you grow.

Rude Rude "female" front desk manager one Saturday, October 28 and again Saturday, November 4th. 8:30 am. Talks over you ( the guest) loudly while you asks a question that she refuses to answer...
