I really love walking this trail (at least in Golden- not so much the Denver stretch;). It's very pretty. Lots of people tube the river, which looks awesome.

Only in Golden, Colorado can you go white water rafting right in town. The Clear Creek Trail and Water Park runs along Clear Creek from downtown Golden back upstream. The are a number of places...

Pretty trail that is paved, has a couple bridges, and lots of nice shade with great views of the creek. Nice walk after a meal in golden or if you just want to walk outside for some fresh air...
