The park offers 61 campsites total, with 51 full service RV hookup sites and 10 basic, walk-in tent sites. From mid-Apr to mid-Oct, the camper services building offers coin operated showers and laundry, along with a gift shop complete with firewood, ice, and souvenir items for sale. The park features over 20 miles of trails for hiking and biking, with select trails open to dog and equestrian users. A state of the art archery range allows archers to hone their shot at the static range or really test their skills on a walking field/3D course. Beginner archery classes, Jr. Ranger programs, large family events, and many other interpretive education programs occur year round. Located within the Pikes Peak region, a visitor can reach Garden of the Gods, Olympic training center, or the Royal Gorge in a very short drive. Nearby shops and restaurants in downtown CS, Manitou Springs, and Old Colorado City are also must do activities. *All vehicles entering the park require a CO State Park Pass
