Care & Share Food Bank is a southern Colorado-based, nonprofit food bank affiliated with America's Second Harvest s national network of food banks. Through a comprehensive food acquisition system, Care & Share acts as southern Colorado's sole food bank for locally and nationally donated and purchased food. The organization distributes food through various human service agencies, including emergency food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters for the homeless, child placement agencies, foster homes, domestic violence shelters, and residential treatment facilities. It also receives and distributes donations of dairy products, breads, and produce from local and regional sources under its perishable food program. Care and Share Food Bank has offices in Colorado Springs and Pueblo, Colo.

Very well organized distribution center to volunteer. LOTS of volunteers. After attending a one hour orientation you can sign up online. Most volunteer opportunities are 2 1/2 hours long. Great...
