History

For us, it all began with an igloo. In 2015, Christie Smith was invited to experience an afternoon at a little ceramics studio called A Creative Corner. After browsing the shelves, she decided to paint a little igloo. That's all it took; she was hooked! The ability and the support to create something beautiful and be surrounded by the love of a welcoming community had her coming back every week. When Ms. Z expressed her desire to retire, we knew that we couldn't let this amazing community disappear, so we rolled up their sleeves and went to work. After a collaborative transition, Busy BeeZ was formed. We take Ms. Z's vision to heart and continue to offer the beautiful community atmosphere she built; even reminding ourselves of her legacy with the 'Z' in our Busy BeeZ name. Our studio's focus is ceramics and crafts, but we make sure to sprinkle each hour spent here with lots of love. Come on in, we've got a chair open and smile waiting for you.
