Growing up in Fairfield, New Jersey, Dr. Gerard Federico always wanted to move west so he could participate in outdoor hobbies year round. He received his undergraduate degree in biology from Siena College in Loudonville, New York. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine. Dr. Federico completed an internship in internal medicine with St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts, and residency training in internal medicine with Stony Brook University Hospital in Stony Brook, New York.Board certified, Dr. Federico has practiced internal medicine in Colorado for the past 13 years. He is the Medical Director for the Cat-skiing operation Powder Addiction, in Empire, Colorado.An outdoor enthusiast, Dr. Federico, his wife (a pediatrician) and their two children spend all of their free time skiing, biking, camping and fishing."I try to really listen to my patients and be attentive to what they are wanting/needing. I think it is important to take the time to address all or most of their concerns at each visit."

Originally from Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin, Cori moved with her family to Arizona as a child. She received her undergraduate degree in exercise science from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. It was while working as a physical therapist that Cori realized she loved having direct contact with patients. She went on to earn a Master of Science as a physician assistant (PA) from Midwestern University Glendale in Arizona. Cori's career as a PA began at a family medicine practice. She found that she enjoyed getting to know the entire family and practicing a little bit of all kinds of medicine. She also spent six years working in an urgent care facility where she was able to expand her medical knowledge. Her clinical interests include pediatrics, genetics, and preventive medicine. "It can be challenging and fun to work in acute care, but I am excited to get back into practicing family medicine. I love the lifelong relationships I have the opportunity to build with each patient, and the bond that is formed when they know I will be taking care of them for the long haul." Married with two daughters, Cori and her family are active Coloradans. They live in the foothills and can often be found skiing, hiking or snowshoeing, depending on the season. In her downtime, Cori enjoys quilting and reading.
