Beaver Brook Watershed Trailhead
Beaver Brook Watershed, located in Evergreen, CO, is a pristine natural area spanning 1442 acres that was acquired by Clear Creek County Open Space in 2005 to preserve its unspoiled mountain terrain and rich wildlife habitat. This scenic wildlife corridor, inhabited by a variety of wildlife including elk, deer, bear, and mountain lion, offers opportunities for non-motorized recreational activities such as hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing, and picnicking. Visitors to Beaver Brook Watershed can enjoy the beauty of its rare plant species and traverse its trails, while adhering to the rules of use which include prohibiting motorized vehicles, vandalism, fires, target shooting, cutting down trees, swimming, and dumping. Dogs are allowed on leash, and camping and special events require a special use permit. Fishing in Lookout Mountain Reservoir is currently not permitted, but is expected to be allowed in the near future.Generated from the website
