Started in upstate New York in 1980, our family opened our first pizza shop in the corner of our farmers market. Before you knew it we were remodeling and cooking our own recipes for everyone to enjoy. Being the youngest of 5 boys, Michael got his start at the early age of 14 and has been cooking ever since. In 1997 he decided he was ready for somewhere new. He moved to Colorado Springs and opened his own pizza shop, Back East Pizza and Subs, on Airport and Murray. Having made his pizza shop a huge success the next step was obvious, marrying his love Megan and having his beautiful daughter Abby. Together, they furthered the Back East dining experience by opening Back East Bar and Grill. We have created the perfect place for you to watch your favorite game and enjoy the incredible food and flavors that we have brought from home. We take pride in knowing our customers and what the want by serving only the best food with the freshest ingredients. We know you will enjoy every minute that you share with us.
