Colorado Avalanche is a professional ice hockey team and a member of the National Hockey League (NHL) and coached by head coach Joel Quenneville. Its practice and training camp is located inside a 140,000 square foot family entertainment center containing two National Hockey League ice rinks and 37,000 square feet dedicated to family fun in Englewood, Colo. The team employs roughly 24 players, two of whom are goalies. The team has been in existence since 1996.
