Articulated Wall by Herbert Bayer is a monumental canary-yellow sculpture located within the Denver Design Center complex in Denver, CO. Erected in 1985, the tower rises over fifty feet and features stacked horizontal concrete bars anchored to an enormous steel mast. The sculpture, visible from South Broadway, I-25, and South Santa Fe Drive, is a striking constructivist composition that showcases Bayer's artistic vision.

With discussions underway about placing monumental sculptures around the new Hamilton Building by Daniel Libeskind, there is an opportunity to consider moving articulated wall to a more prominent and appropriate location. The Denver Art Museum, which owns the piece, would be an ideal destination. The museum's Herbert Bayer Archive, curated by Gwen Chanzit, contains thousands of artifacts by the artist, and there are plans to permanently install Bayer pieces inside the new Hamilton Building, making the placement of articulated wall a fitting addition to the museum's collection.
