History

We are a family owned and operated sewing and vacuum store with two locations serving the Denver metro area. In 2005 owners Patrick Arnold and Kate McMillan opened the doors to Above & Beyond Sewing and Vacuum and were determined to be Denver's one stop source for all your sewing and vacuum needs. We have developed Colorado's largest sewing school and we specialize in keeping you motivated and energized in your hobby.

Specialties

We are Denver's premier full service sewing and vacuum store. We specialize in Babylock sewing machines, Simplicity, Miele, and Dyson vacuums, but we service and teach to all makes and models. Our staff has over 100 years of experience in the sewing and vacuum industry and we look forward to taking care of all your needs. We have the most comprehensive sewing classroom of any store in the state and also feature out of store sewing seminars and embroidery parties throughout the year. On our service, we offer free estimates and a warranty on every repair we do. We service all makes and models of sewing machines and vacuums and our technicians have been factory trained by multiple brands. Our technicians also have over 60 years experience in the sewing and vacuum industry. Our classroom is the most comprehensive in the state. From Beginning sewing to quilting and embroidery, we have all of your sewing knowledge covered. Our classroom is always active and inspiring. We also carry a full line of fabrics, notions and hard to find vacuum bags.
