HistoryJ & J Hip Hop Dance Company originally started as a small Hip Hop Dance Crew that was formed back in 2008. The dance crew (Hiz Hop Dance Crew) was formed for the sole purpose of encouraging the dancers in the crew to use their gifts of hip hop dance and break dancing to inspire hurting communities, families, and hearts. As they ventured out to inspire communities, they captivated the hearts of many. Not many people knew that hip hop dance could be so inspirational and positive. The crew implemented positive music, positive movements, and inspirational routines into their dances. Today the Hiz Hop Dance crew continues to train and tour all over to inspire hearts. J & J Hip Hop Dance Company was quickly formed as many students began to flood in to be a part of the fast growing Positive Hip Hop Dance Movement in Colorado Springs, cultivated by J & J Hip Hop owners Joseph & Stephanie Cantu.SpecialtiesPositive Hip Hop Dance & Performing Arts Classes for ages 4-Adults. All the great training without all the inappropriate movements or questionable music. Family friendly! J & J offers several performance opportunities and recitals. In addition to exceptional dance training, we incorporate character building. J & J offers a strong family atmosphere and encourages lifelong friendships among students and parents. The goal is to build inspiring people along with legendary skill in the arts.
