The "Grange" is a national fraternal organization, the "Patrons of Husbandry" which began in 1867. Bayside Grange # 500 was chartered on October 17th, 1932. Grange Members operate as a fraternity for the benefit of the Grange while being very active in a variety of community organizations. They are folks from many walks of life including musicians, gardeners, and administrators. The Grange represents the "Commons" in neighborhoods across the country. We and our renters host breakfasts, dances and educational events that create places of encounter where we get to know our neighbors and discuss the news of the day.
