Chinese Family Camp

Chinese Family Camp is a multi-generational camp that has been running continuously since 1958, offering a unique and special experience for Chinese Americans and families with adopted Chinese children. With a focus on building healthy self-images and fostering deep friendships, the camp provides a safe and fun-filled environment through activities such as Chinese arts and crafts, language and culture instruction, swimming, sports, evening games, dances, and more. The week-long camp concludes with Festival Night, featuring musical performances, skits, songs, and laughter.

Despite the challenges of COVID-19, Chinese Family Camp adapted by hosting virtual camps in 2020 and 2021, and safely returned to in-person camp in 2022. The camp's rich history and commitment to creating lasting relationships among campers of all generations have made it a cherished tradition for many families, with some campers now representing the fourth generation. As the camp looks towards the future, it remains a unique and special group that encourages staying connected, being open to change, and using individual gifts to keep the camp alive.
