ZipTax was born in the spring of 2012 after its founders, Jim Dougal and Chris Shihadeh, grew tired of seeing taxpayers have zero trusted resources if they found themselves in the difficult scenario of owing money to the IRS. Having worked in the industry for a combined 21 years, they understood the importance of putting customer service and clients' results above all else.
