The Zane Grey Estate in Altadena, California is a historic house listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 2002. Built in 1907 by Chicago business machine manufacturer Arthur Herbert Woodward, the Mediterranean Revival style home is renowned as the first fireproof residence in Altadena, constructed entirely of reinforced concrete.
Zane Grey, the famous author, and his wife purchased the estate in 1920, adding a studio and library on the roof. Following their ownership, the property passed to their sons before being sold in 1970. The house was put up for sale again in 2020, maintaining its historical significance in the Altadena community.
