History

We are 4th generation jewelry designers and manufacturers. Our great grandfather was born in 1890 in Bethlehem (Holy Land) and was a pioneer in the art of jewelry design and manufacturing. In 1941 our dad was also born in the Holy Land and at a very young age, he was taught the art & craft of jewelry making by both his father and grandfather. In 1967 he relocated to Jordan where our family owned and operated a gold manufacturing facility before immigrating to the US in 1989. From 1993-2006 we ran a gold manufacturing facility in San Diego County working mainly with jewelry wholesalers nationwide. In 2007 we opened our first jewelry retail store - Kenz Jewelry - located in Rancho San Diego and in 2014 we changed the business name to - Zakaria Jewelry - and relocated to a new and fancy location in El Cajon that we personally designed and built.
