The Youth Science Institute (YSI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering a passion for science, nature, and learning among children and families. Through hands-on, nature-based science camps and educational programs, YSI serves nearly 30,000 students annually, with a focus on supporting children from low-income communities.

In addition to summer camps, YSI offers a variety of school group field trips and community events designed for learners from pre-K through sixth grade. The organization aims to provide enriching experiences that promote scientific understanding and appreciation for the natural world.
