History
We formed Your Special Creature's Responsible Urban Friend--Pet Care Collective (SCRUF) in June of 2016, after a long year of hard work and many meetings. All three members of SCRUF were coworkers at a dog daycare in Oakland, and through that experience we recognized a need in the pet care industry for sustainable jobs for pet care providers. We started this cooperative and achieved exactly that. We have 13 years of professional pet care experience combined, and would love to meet you and your pets!
