Angel Veterinary Hospital was built from the ground up to cater to our special patients and their medical needs. Natural lighting in our ICU helps patients recover gently from anesthetic procedures. Angel veterinary hospital is dedicated to providing compassionate and professional care for Santa Barbara's pets and their families. Dr. Engel has been caring for Santa Barbara's pets since 1998, and opened a modern, state-of-the-art full service veterinary hospital in 2011. We specialize in integrated pain management, and are the only hospital in the area with a Class IV Therapy Laser for drug-free pain relief. Second opinions are welcome, and we have a sterile surgical suite, digital dental Xray, and a special program for hospice care. Dr. Engel has special interests in dermatology/allergy management, behavior consults, soft tissue surgery, and management of chronic pain conditions.
