Our founder Emily Lam is a graduate of UCLA and a marketing professional who has spent the last year mastering the car buying industry. As a marketer in the car buying industry, she has identified a major problem at every turn and that's unprofessionalism in this business. For her, Selling your car should be a pleasant effortless experience but unfortunately, many car buyers don't hold the same standard. She wants to flip the current process and make junk car selling simple easy and enjoyable. That's why she started Young Junky. Our company's long-term goal is to not only redefine the junk car buying process standard but to ultimately use only electric vehicles to create zero-emission towing because in addition to providing the best junk car buying experience it's important for our company to give back to the environment as well as do good for our clients.
