Yosemite National Institute
NatureBridge is a non-profit organization based in Sausalito, CA, with locations in Yosemite National Park, Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Olympic National Park, and Prince William Forest. Their mission is to connect young people to the wonder and science of the natural world through overnight, hands-on environmental science programs. With a focus on grades 4-12, NatureBridge takes over 35,000 children and teens each year into national parks, providing them with opportunities to explore the outdoors, connect with their peers, discover themselves, and develop a lasting relationship with the environment.
Through their school group environmental science programs and summer programs, NatureBridge offers students the chance to learn scientific concepts firsthand, use them in real-time, and foster connections with themselves, each other, and the environment. With a team of dedicated individuals, NatureBridge is committed to inspiring stewardship of the planet and igniting self-discovery in young people. They also offer educator development programs and retreat spaces for conferences and weddings.
