The Osher Marin Jewish Community Center, located in San Rafael, Calif., is a recreational and education center. It has a fitness club, library, more than 300-seat theater, early childhood center, lounge and gallery, gift shop, and youth and adult centers. It offers various activities reflecting the values of Jewish history and culture. It offers various programs, including preschool, and child care and parental programs, and youth and family services, including day camps and teen activities. It also offers excursions, clubs, lectures, and exhibits for adults and seniors and organizes Jewish cultural events and holiday celebrations. The center has a more than 87,000-square-foot area and has the Hoytt Theater and a health and wellness center located in its vicinity. It also has pools, exercise rooms, a gymnasium, spa, saunas and steam rooms. The Osher Marin Jewish Community Center was was established in 1946.
