712 S Santa Fe Ave
Los Angeles, CA 90021
Located in the Arts District of Los Angeles, Yangban draws inspiration from Korean flavors and influences with California ingredients. Chef/Owners Katianna & John Hong craft dishes that reveal their distinct perspectives and upbringings as Korean Americans, as well as their nuanced culinary approach, refined from their shared time at The Restaurant at Meadowood, The Charter Oak and Mélisse. Menu highlights include pea shoots & chive salad, congee pot pie, double-fried chicken wings, buffalo milk soft-serve and an extensive collection of house-made bottled and canned cocktails. Recent awards include: Bon Appetit's 10 Best New Restaurants, Esquire's Best New Restaurants in America + Chefs of the Year and David Chang's Restaurant of the Year.
