HistoryI began in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2003 after attending a number of friends births and being told that I was the biggest asset to them in the room. I was a natural. I also helped deal with light post-postpartum depression to full blown psychosis and hospital admission. I then got my certifications in 2004 and have worked both privately and as a staff Doula and lactation consultant and well as Teaching childbirth education classes in the largest hospital and HMO/ medicaid provider in New Mexico ever since. I also did a rotation in the psychiatric ward where I picked up my certifications in various behavioral issues but mainly Suicide intervention and Prevention. March 1st 2011 I moved to San Jose, California where I am hoping to become a part of the birthing community here and I am excited!
