History

Wing Wu & Company started out when Wing's wife asked him to sharpen a pair of scissors. His wife was surprised at his handiwork and encouraged him to try to see if any of San Francisco's textile factories were interested in his services. This started out as a part time gig and then extended to becoming a full time occupation. Now Wing Wu & Company provides sharpening services for Columbus Cutlery, Apparel City, Barney New York, Byer California, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Wilkes Bashford, and many more.

Specialties

We sharpen and repair scissors, shears, knives, or any sort of specialized cutlery. We also provide specialized services such as adding serration to non serrated knives, sharpening food processor blades, and repairing broken tips on knives. We are happy to accommodate your busy schedule, but we operate on an by-appointment basis. We'll pick up your cutlery at your door, sharpen them, and return them to you the next day. Please call us in advance to check availability for drop off hours.
