History
The Market first opened in 2001 on the Town Green with a mission to create a place for the community to gather, a place where Town memories would be made. Original Market Manager, Glenda Castelli, with the help of an Advisory Board and many local volunteers has built the Market into a positive weekly gathering place. A place where healthy eating and farm and food education for adults and children is promoted with programs like 2nd Sunday Chef Demonstrations and the Kidz Dig It Club. The Kidz Dig It Club holds 4th Sunday Cooking Classes for school age kids who get to meet the farmer, shop and prepare and cook a snack for themselves. Glenda recently retired in 2012 and is now giving her time to The Kidz Dig It Cooking Classes and activities. Her daughter Tina Castelli was hired in late 2012 for training and took over as Market Manager in January of 2013. She has kept layout and event schedule similar to last year with only minor changes, check website for details.

Since it is mid October the market was on the small side with not a lot of options. It was a nice market and everyone was friendly. I purchased some jam and a lemonade.
Be sure to stop and meet Jan at her booth for bracelets! So fun, beautiful and priced right!
Jams, fresh fruit, fresh flowers, homemade breads, artisan olive oil and balsamic vinegars, pastries, homemade soaps, and so much more. This farmers market was probably one of the best I've been...
