Wilshire Tile

History

Wilshire Tile Inc was started in 1921 at Third Street and Cochran in Los Angeles by Charles Malby. Wilshire Tile was originally a very large union shop that employed more then 100 people at a time. We built Los Angeles and Beverly Hills. In the 50's the Union split off and the same owner passed it on to his two Boys, Don and Ray. They hired a new energetic salesman to help boost their sales the early 1960's. That salesman was my father, Walt Hoehn. He later purchased the business from the original owner's and subsequently in the mid 80's sold it to two of his boys, Randy (me) and Jay Hoehn. We have run it since then. In April 2015 Jay retired, and now here I am running the oldest and most successful tile contracting company in Los Angeles History. Wilshire Tile Inc, Established in 1921. Life is good.

We are tile and marble installation specialists. We can do anything from slab work to full kitchen or bathroom remodels. We are one of the industries leaders on floor installation, both commercial and residential. We also have a team dedicated to your most complicated repairs, re-caulking and regretting. No job to small or too large. There is no other tile contractors that have been around longer. I am the 5th generation owner of a 96 year old company.
