Wildwings of Calif offers a rich literary exploration through its publication, "Apricot Cat," which features an illustrated collection of poems divided into three sections: Personal Poems, Poems about How Things Are, and Poems that Make You Smile. Additionally, "Lilacs and Home Grown Tomatoes" transports readers to the 1940s and 1950s, sharing poignant stories and poems about life in a small suburban town on the east coast, filled with nostalgia and heartfelt family connections.

Through these works, the author paints a vivid picture of a time when life was simpler, without modern conveniences like television, instead focusing on the warmth of love, drama, and family ties that shaped their experiences. Wildwings of Calif invites readers to reflect on the beauty of past moments and feel a connection to those simpler days.

Bob is amazing! It was a Sunday evening when I found an injured bird. Bob answered the phone and said I could bring it right over. He was so gentle and knowledgeable that I instantly felt better...
