The Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy, founded in 1988, has preserved over 1,700 acres of open spaces on the Peninsula, including the Palos Verdes Nature Preserve, George F Canyon Nature Center Preserve, and White Point Nature Preserve. These protected lands offer spectacular views, precious habitats, and over 30 miles of trails for visitors to explore.
The Conservancy works in partnership with public and private entities to manage the preserves according to conservation guidelines, ensuring the protection and perpetuation of biological diversity in the region.
