Dr. Wheldon has worked in the mental health and wellness field for the last ten years in clinical, forensic, and fire department settings.

Dr. Wheldon provides individual and couples therapy with special focus on trauma. She also conducts psychological testing in her practice with a focus on diagnostic clarification, treatment planning, education, & employment. At the core of the human experience are questions. I work with individuals, couples, and families while using evidence-based psychological interventions. Over the years, I have seen my clients break through old and unhealthy patterns to develop new perspectives and confidence for the future. I specialize in working with trauma-exposed populations, veterans, and first responders. Many of my clients come in for issues related to anxiety, depression, or performance enhancement. I have experience conducting pre-employment evaluations, personality, and educational assessments (classroom accommodations or SAT, ACT, GMAT), as well as crisis responses.
