History

As a new mom myself I know how hard it is to sift through all the information out there. I also know how nice it is to meet with a group of other parents every week to talk about what is happening with my baby, and to get helpful hints and relevant information from real experts. I was unable to find anything like this in Beverly Hills/West Hollywood, so I'm very excited to offer this to other moms in the area.

babytalk la provides a unique model that combines the best of both worlds for new parents of infants and toddlers under 2 yrs old-the chance to hear directly from experts in the field AND the opportunity to bond with other parents over similar issues. An informed and experienced mom facilitates each group, and the program focuses on the most useful and relevant discussion topics for each stage. Experts are brought in to present on topics such as infant care, sleep, nutrition, preschool, financial planning and other early parenting issues. There are programs for pregnant moms (getting ready for baby), first time moms with infants or toddlers, and 2nd time moms. Founder Vanessa Karubian Saxe started babytalk la when she realized there was nothing like this being offered to new moms in the Beverly Hills/West Hollywood area. It is advisable to sign up as early as possible as space is limited.
