Westridge School is an independent day school for college-bound girls that provide educational classes to more than 500 students in grades four through 12. It is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the California Association of Independent Schools. The school offers a wide range of academic programs, such as humanities, mathematics, sciences, fine and performing arts, technology, English, social studies and physical education. It offers a summer program that includes classes in self-defense, kickboxing, costume design, stagecraft, mathematics, fine arts and acting. The school has a research center that is equipped with more than 25 computer stations and allows students to engage in research, work on assignments and pursue personal interests. Established in 1913, Westridge School is a member of the National Coalition of Girls' Schools and is located in Pasadena, Calif.
