North East Trees is a community based, grassroots, environmental non-profit 501 ( c ) ( 3 ) organization. We are one of the only design build non-profit organizations in Los Angeles. North East Trees' staff includes licensed professional arborists, landscape architects, landscape designers, and environmental scientists that ensure efficient and effective end-to end project management. North East Trees was founded in 1989 by Mr. Scott Wilson, a retired LAUSD high school teacher and licensed Landscape Architect. Mr. Wilson's pledge to plant 5 trees a day for the rest of his life, and his parallel commitment to helping At Risk teenagers find meaningful employment in the green industry, have resulted in a non-profit organization delivering effective training and environmental restoration programs to under served communities in the Greater Los Angeles Area. Our Mission is "To restore nature's services in resource challenged communities, through a collaborative resource development, implementation, and stewardship process."

Established in 1991, Aspen Environmental Group is a multidisciplined environmental company that specializes in a range of environmental impact assessment, power generation, mitigation monitoring and air quality permitting services. It offers a variety of flood control and watershed planning services, such as floodplain mapping, flood drainage assessment, watershed simulation, hydrologic routing, and analysis of detention basins and alternative flood control strategies. The various projects undertaken by the company include Matilija Dam Ecosystem Restoration, Canoga Park New Elementary School, Littlerock Reservoir, Los Angeles County Drainage Area and Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant. In addition, it offers habitat restoration, hydraulic analysis and biological surveying services to its clients. The company has locations in San Diego, Phoenix and Agoura Hills, Calif.
